Speedie Waste launched its Speedie Waste Recycling division over 20 years ago and has since become an expert in all forms of recycling. Throughout this time we have seen the importance and value in recycling and thus will continue to find new avenues to conduct business in a more environmentally responsible manner.
All paper handled by Speedie Waste is either sent to certified paper mills to be used as raw material in making new paper, or is taken to various transport plants for sorting and reuse to make items such as wrapping paper and packaging.
Other materials handled by Speedie Waste Recycling include; plastics (various grades), printing plates, scrape metal and timber.
All of which are sold for processing.
Speedie Waste also offers Co-mingled recycling bins. These bins are particularly useful for the disposal and recycling of various materials that can essentially be re-used or recycled.
Co-mingled bins are very popular in our food industry segment of the market, with many clients choosing to recycle all of there daily disposables including; plastic bottles and tins, into the one bin.
