FLUORESCENT LIGHT TUBE RECYCLING
Did you know?
The mercury contained in one fluorescent tube can pollute up to 30,000 litres of groundwater beyond a safe drinking level.
What can you do?
Speedie Waste & Recycle offers a service to recycle fluorescent tubes in accordance with regulations. Due to the high toxicity levels and tougher government regulations, incineration or landfill is no longer an acceptable option for disposal.
The mercury, glass, aluminum and phosphor powder found in fluorescent tubes can all be recycled saving valuable resources and helping to prevent our environment from further decay.
Please contact our Waste Management Consultants at sales@speediewaste.com.au / or phone us on +61 3 9305 2265 for more information on how to recycle fluorescent tubes.
